Local Services Ads management

Google Local Services Ads management from former Google insiders

Ken was the first Operations Analyst on Google's Local Services Ads team and helped roll the product out across the country. Alice spent two years as a Google Account Strategist for home services advertisers. That is who manages your account.

Who actually manages the account

You work with Ken Waks and Alice Trellakis directly. There is no junior account manager between you and the people who know the product.

What we manage

  • Verification and the Google Verified badge. Licence, insurance and background checks, and the profile states that stop you serving without telling you why
  • Categories and service areas. The biggest lever on lead quality
  • Bidding and budget. Weekly caps, bid mode, and pacing
  • Lead quality and disputes. Bad leads are creditable if you dispute them correctly and in time
  • Reviews and responsiveness. Both are ranking inputs on LSAs, not just reputation
  • Profile health and reporting. Measured to booked work, not just leads

Who we specialise in

Only trades where we have a live account and a result to point at. If your trade is not here, ask; the answer might be that Local Services Ads are not the right product for you, and we would rather say so.

Landscaping and hardscape

$28 a lead, 358 leads, $400,000+ booked. Pristine Landscaping in Medina, Ohio went from no Local Services Ads presence to $250K booked in the first thirty days on $2,500. The lever in landscaping is job types: we switched on design, installation, driveway and walkway work on day one and held masonry, hardscape and paving back until the crew could deliver them. One landscaper per market. Read the case study.

Roofing

We run Local Services Ads for Gen 3 Roofing Corp. in Denver. Roofing leads are among the most expensive on the platform, which changes the job: a single bad lead costs what several would in another trade, so disputing the wrong-number, out-of-area and wrong-job calls is not admin, it is the margin. Verification is also heavier for roofers, with licence and insurance checks that stall accounts for weeks when the paperwork trickles in. We collect it before we start.

Painting

$54 a lead against a $5,000 average job. Liberty Painting in Houston came to us after a previous agency had their account configured so leads arrived as Google profile bookings instead of phone calls to the office. Ads ran, money was spent, and nobody saw the leads. Since we took over: 65 charged leads on $3,500, about twenty a month, with a $1,500 minimum job and a $5,000 average. Read the case study.

Auto repair

We run Local Services Ads for Griffin Automotive Solutions in Marysville, Ohio. The auto job type list runs from oil changes to transmission work, and switching all of it on buys a lot of cheap calls for work with no margin in it. We enable the jobs the shop actually wants and leave the rest dark, then widen as the bays have room.

Restaurants and bars

Local Services Ads do not exist for hospitality; Google does not offer the category. What we run for the 20-plus venues on our roster is reputation management, listings and Meta instead, and the number that matters there is reply rate. Forward Hospitality Group went from 39% of reviews answered to 98% across 17 locations. Read the case study.

What results look like

$28Cost per charged lead
358Charged leads since February
$400K+Booked from $10,000 of ads

Our clearest current example is Pristine Landscaping: 358 charged leads at about $28 each, and $400,000+ in booked work from $10,000 of spend since February 2026.

What it costs

Ad management is a $500 one-time setup fee, then 20% of charged ad spend. That covers Local Services Ads, Google Search Ads and Meta ads. You pay Google or Meta directly for the ads themselves, so you can see exactly what the media cost and what we cost.

$500Setup, one time
20%Of charged ad spend
$300Reputation management, per month
$1,500+Social media, per month

Website and SEO development is billed hourly.

Social media is quoted rather than fixed, because the cost depends on how many posts a month you want and whether we are shooting the content or you are supplying it.

On Local Services Ads you are charged per qualified lead, not per click, so the 20% is calculated on money that only moved when the phone actually rang.
